another day, another shoot

And as the days pass by, Kamers creeps closer... we spent this sunny day doing yet another shoot for our display...here's where it's going...

Thursday's womansday was spent on a beach in the Westcoast shooting our jewels for our website with the lovely Alex McGregor. Robyn from August  was ever so kind to let us use her beautiful clothes- check out her new range!

Hey folks! Just thought i'd update you on what i'm currently working on.. I recently went on a trip to the Kalahari and collected the most beautiful bones in the WORLD, amongst which were these tiny bird vertebrae. I made a silicone mould of them so I now have the exact replicas of these tiny beauties in wax, which i'll soon cast in gold and silver and make the most awesome jewels :)

I decided to make some of my pieces in brass, both for a different look as well as cheaper price range.

I think they turned out damn nice! Love the warmth it has..
